VMware Telco Cloud Manager and Control Plane:

VMware Telco Cloud Automation onboards and orchestrates workloads seamlessly. VMware Telco Cloud Automation consists of two components:

VMware Telco Cloud Manager

VMware Telco Automation control plane.


VMware Telco Cloud Manager, a GUI in VMware Telco Cloud Automation, allows stakeholders such as developers, admins, vendors, and operators to interact with VMware Telco Cloud Automation. VMware Telco Cloud Manager provides the ability to design, onboard and orchestrate workloads, and automate their deployments and configurations. The cloud manager also provides access to status, services, configuration settings, and system-level administration tasks.
The VMware Telco Cloud Automation control plane provides the infrastructure abstraction for placing workloads across clouds. The VMware Telco Automation control plane supports virtualized infrastructure managers (VIMs) and cloud products such as vCenter Server, VMware Cloud DirectorTM , VMware® Integrated OpenStack, VMware TanzuTM Kubernetes GridTM, and Kubernetes. The support for different VIMs within VMware Telco Cloud Automation provides the CSP a simplified automation solution across clouds with a consistent user experience.
